Lea Michele, Keke Palmer to star in Fox's 'Scream Queens'

The new anthology series from "Glee" and "American Horror Story" masterminds Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk is to premiere this fall.

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 17 (UPI) -- Joe Manganiello, Lea Michele, Abigail Breslin and Keke Palmer have been cast as series regulars in Scream Queens, Fox announced Saturday.

The new comedy-horror anthology series is from Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, Ian Brennan and Dante Di Loreto, the executive producers of Glee and American Horror Story.

Singer and actress Ariana Grande is to guest-star in a recurring role on the series, which is to premiere this fall. Jamie Lee Curtis and Emma Roberts were previously announced in starring roles. The first installment in the new anthology revolves around a college campus rocked by a series of murders.

Fifteen one-hour episodes have been ordered and are scheduled to go into production in the spring.

The new cast members took to social media Saturday to express how thrilled they are about their roles.
