LOS ANGELES, Sept. 11 (UPI) -- True Tori has been renewed for a second season at Lifetime. The reality series began filming season two Thursday, and new episodes will premiere October 21. The program follows actress Tori Spelling and husband Dean McDermott as they attempt to repair their marriage after his cheating scandal.

"Cameras will capture this raw, unfiltered journey as she addresses everything from her family relationships to her business ventures, all while juggling four kids and salvaging her marriage," the network said of season two in a statement. "While much of the chaos of last spring is seemingly behind her, there still exists a tremendous amount of work ahead for Tori as she struggles to find her true self."
Spelling and McDermott have been married since 2006, and have two sons and two daughters together. McDermott admitted to cheating after he checked into rehab in January, and the first season of True Tori dealt with the immediate aftermath of the affair. The episodes saw the couple visit therapy and work on their marriage, but some, including McDermott's son from his first marriage, believe the show is faked.
"As you all know, our family has been through a lot this last year," Spelling wrote on her website in August. "I'm happy and proud to say that we are doing really well, and that Dean and I are working very hard to make our relationship and our family better than ever."
Spelling's ABC Family comedy Mystery Girls, with Beverly Hills, 90210 co-star Jennie Garth, has reportedly been canceled after one season.
