Miranda Lambert, Tim McGraw tie with 7 ACM Award nods each

LAS VEGAS, Jan. 29 (UPI) -- U.S. superstars Miranda Lambert and Tim McGraw were each nominated for seven Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas Wednesday.

Keith Urban earned six nods, while Lee Brice, Kacey Musgraves, Blake Shelton and Taylor Swift each received five nominations.

Florida Georgia Line and Lady Antebellum are each up for four awards, and Luke Bryan and Darius Rucker will compete for three apiece.

The ACM Awards ceremony is to be broadcast live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas April 6 on CBS.
