Super Bowl MVP Joe Flacco to be 'Late Show' guest

NEW YORK, Feb. 4 (UPI) -- Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco, who was crowned Super Bowl XLVII MVP, is to be a guest on "Late Show with David Letterman," CBS said.

This will be the ninth consecutive year a Super Bowl-winning quarterback visits the late-night chat show in New York after winning the big game.

Flacco is to be on "Late Show" Monday.

The Ravens, who despite a strong comeback attempt by the San Francisco 49ers in the second half, led the entire game Sunday to win 34-31, the second championship title in franchise history.

Flacco completed 22 of 32 passes for 287 yards and three touchdowns, with no interceptions.
