Mariah Carey announces 'Celebration of Mimi' show in Las Vegas

Feb. 6 (UPI) -- Mariah Carey is heading back to Las Vegas.

The 54-year-old singer and actress announced The Celebration of Mimi, a new show at Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas, on Tuesday.

The Celebration of Mimi marks the 19th anniversary of Carey's album The Emancipation of Mimi, released in April 2005.

The exclusive engagement will run April 12, 13, 17, 19, 20, 24, 26 and 27.

Tickets go on sale Saturday at 1 p.m. EST.

The Emancipation of Mimi features such singles as "It's Like That," "We Belong Together" and "Shake It Off."

Carey's new show "will feature fan favorites from that album as well as other hits from her unparalleled illustrious career," according to Billboard.

Carey previously had residency shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

The singer released her 15th album, Caution, in 2018. She attended the Grammy Awards on Sunday, where she presented the award for Best Pop Solo Performance to Miley Cyrus.
