LAS VEGAS, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Britney Spears brought Colton Haynes onstage Wednesday without realizing who he was.
The 34-year-old singer invited the 28-year-old actor onstage during her Las Vegas residency show at The Axis at Planet Hollywood without recognizing him as the former star of Teen Wolf and Arrow.
Spears regularly pulls a person from the audience for her song "Freakshow" and has previously chosen Tyson Beckford, Nicole Richie and Mario Lopez. She strapped Haynes into a leather harness before launching into her burlesque-style routine.
"Thank you for coming up here and dancing with us. You're so beautiful!" the singer said after the performance. "What's your name? Give it up for Colton, everyone! You're an amazing dancer, oh my goodness."
Haynes later shared a video of the moment on Instagram, writing, "Still in shock haha. Made my Vegas debut with @britneyspears @phvegas #PieceofMe #TheAXIS What the hell just happened!!!??? So cool!!!" He also gushed about experience on Twitter.
"I don't even know what just happened. I got brought up on stage to perform with @britneyspears & I hope I get a residency now!!! Lol," he wrote. "Britney Spears just gave a shoutout to my behind on stage...what the hell is happening. Thk u @britneyspears. I'm available for dance hire lol."
Spears will remain in residence in Las Vegas through 2017. The singer is gearing up to release her ninth studio album, Glory, on Aug. 26, and released a new song, "Do You Wanna Come Over?" from the record this week.
