Shay Mitchell stars in Nick Jonas' new music video

LOS ANGELES, June 8 (UPI) -- Shay Mitchell gave fans a glimpse of Nick Jonas' new music video Wednesday.

The 29-year-old actress revealed her starring role in the 23-year-old singer's "Under You" video after teasing the project in a series of tweets.

"Good morning... I want to tell you guys something... I've been keeping this secret for a year," she wrote. "I know I'm torturing you! I want to share as badly as you want to know. Just give me a little more time."

Mitchell ultimately shared a clip from the video, writing, "Oh hey @NickJonas... #UnderYou #LYWC." The preview sees the actress and Jonas get close after several dramatic and angsty scenes.

"Under You" appears on Jonas' third solo album, Last Year Was Complicated, which is scheduled for release June 10. The singer will release a full music video for "Under You" the same day.

Mitchell previously starred in Sean Paul's "Hold My Hand" music video in 2009. The actress is best known for playing Emily Fields on the Freeform series Pretty Little Liars and will star in the new thriller Cadaver.

Cadaver stars Mitchell as "a disgraced ex-cop and recovering addict" who faces off with an "evil entity" in the hospital where she got sober, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The movie is directed by Dutch director Diederik Van Rooijen.
