GLENDALE, Ariz., Feb. 1 (UPI) -- Pop music star Katy Perry pulled out all the stops for her spectacular Super Bowl Halftime Show Sunday.

The 30-year-old singer rode into Arizona's University of Phoenix Stadium on a giant mechanical lion and sang several of her biggest hits, including "Roar," "I Kissed a Girl," "Teenage Dream," "California Gurls" and "Dark Horse." She also had numerous costume changes and was accompanied by dozens of dancers dressed variously as chess pieces, beach balls, palm trees, bikini-clad swimmers and sharks.

Her show also featured special appearances by Lenny Kravitz and Missy Elliott.

The program ended with Perry suspended from what looked like a shooting star, stories above the stadium, singing "Firework," as pyrotechnics went off all around her.

The New England Patriots beat the Seattle Seahawks 28 to 24.
