NEW YORK, Dec. 16 (UPI) -- The opening of the new Broadway musical "Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark" has been moved from Jan. 11 to some time in February, The New York Times said Thursday.

Directed by Julie Taymor, the $65 million production features music by U2's Bono and The Edge. It began previews last month after several delays due to technical snafus and financial problems.

The Hollywood Reporter said the show's producers are still working out the bugs, and are considering revamping the ending, making further rewrites to the dialogue and possibly adding more music by Bono and The Edge.

The entertainment industry trade newspaper said despite the troubles surrounding the musical, tickets are selling briskly.
