'Justice League' trailer preview featuring Aquaman released

March 23 (UPI) -- Jason Momoa's Aquaman is front and center in a new trailer preview for Justice League that aired during Today Thursday.

The footage features the King of Atlantis using his trident to great effect in the middle of the ocean, along with a closer look at his costume as Batman (Ben Affleck), hands him his signature weapon.

The preview announces that a second full-length trailer for the upcoming superhero epic will be released on Saturday.

On Twitter, Warner Bros. released a new poster for the film that displays a close-up of the Justice League logo above the word "Unite."

Directed by Zack Snyder, Justice League, which also stars Henry Cavill (Superman), Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman), Ezra Miller (The Flash) and Ray Fisher (Cyborg), is due in theaters Nov. 17.
