Leslie Jones, Kate McKinnon dazzle on the 'Ghostbusters' green carpet

LOS ANGELES, July 10 (UPI) -- Funny ladies Leslie Jones, Melissa McCarthy, Kate McKinnon and Kristen Wiig were the definition of glamour as they donned formalwear for the green-carpet premiere of their movie Ghostbusters in Los Angeles Saturday night.

Jones, who recently complained on social media that designers were reluctant to dress her for the high-profile event, ended up wearing a gorgeous, red, off-the-shoulder, floor-length gown, while McKinnon went for a royal blue frock with thin shoulder straps and a deep V.

McCarthy showed off her newly slim figure in a yellow, floral cocktail dress and Wiig wore a strapless, pink, patterned, slip dress with a sweetheart neckline.

Also spotted going in to the gala screening of the supernatural comedy were Dan Aykroyd and Annie Potts, stars from the original Ghostbusters films, as well as franchise super-fans Kevin Smith and Chris Hardwick.

Directed by Paul Feig, Ghostbusters is set for release Friday.
