Hugh Laurie amazed in new 'Tomorrowland' trailer

The film opens in theaters May 22.

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 2 (UPI) -- Hugh Laurie and George Clooney star in a Super Bowl spot trailer for Tomorrowland.

The preview sees the 55-year-old House star and 53-year-old actor look on in amazement at a world where nothing is impossible. Laurie portrays villain David Nix, with George Clooney as inventor Frank Walker and Britt Robertson as Casey Newton.

The Disney film was written by Lost co-creator Damon Lindelof, and helmed by The Incredibles and Ratatouille director Brad Bird. The movie will follow Frank and Casey as they travel to Tomorrowland, a place by defined by science and technology.

Laurie is known for portraying Dr. Gregory House on Fox medical drama House, and will star with Tom Hiddleston on new AMC series The Night Manager. Clooney last appeared as Frank Stokes in The Monuments Men, and is scheduled for Jodie Foster film Money Monster.
