Robert Downey Jr., 'Grey's Anatomy,' 'Big Bang Theory' win big at People's Choice Awards

"Mom" co-stars Anna Faris and Allison Janney hosted the fan-voted awards ceremony in Los Angeles.

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Robert Downey Jr., Jennifer Lawrence, Taylor Swift, Shailene Woodley, Divergent, Maleficent, Castle, Grey's Anatomy and The Big Bang Theory each won multiple fan-voted People's Choice Awards in Los Angeles Wednesday night.

Maleficent was voted Favorite Movie and Favorite Family Movie, while Gone Girl won for Favorite Thriller Movie and Divergent for Favorite Action Movie. The Favorite Action Movie Actor title went to Chris Evans.

Divergent also garnered the prize for Favorite Movie Duo for Shailene Woodley and Theo James, and Woodley's romance The Fault in Our Stars was named Favorite Dramatic Movie.

Chloe Grace Moretz won for Favorite Dramatic Movie Actress, and Downey Jr. for Favorite Movie Actor and Favorite Dramatic Movie Actor. Lawrence earned the honors for Favorite Movie Actress and Favorite Action Movie Actress.

Melissa McCarthy and Adam Sandler were presented with the Favorite Comedic Movie Actress and Actor trophies, and 22 Jump Street was voted Favorite Comedic Movie.

Grey's Anatomy scored the accolade for Favorite Network TV Drama, and its stars Ellen Pompeo and Patrick Dempsey took home matching Favorite Dramatic TV Actress and Actor statuettes.

The Big Bang Theory earned the honors for Favorite TV Show, Favorite Network Comedy and Favorite Comedic TV Actress for Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting. Melissa & Joey won for Favorite Cable TV Comedy and Chris Colfer picked up the Favorite Comedic TV Actor trophy.

Pretty Little Liars was voted Favorite Cable TV Drama, while Matt Bomer and Angie Harmon won the prizes for Favorite Cable TV Actor and Actress, and Orange is the New Black was named Favorite Dramedy.

Castle was deemed the Favorite TV Crime Drama, and its leads Nathan Fillion and Stana Katic declared the Favorite Crime Drama Actor and Actress. Outlander snagged the honor for Favorite Cable Science Fiction-Fantasy Series.

Jane the Virgin and The Flash were voted Favorite New TV Comedy and Drama respectively, and David Tennant and Viola Davis won the awards for Favorite Actor and Actress in a New TV Series.

The Voice won for Favorite Competition Series, Ellen DeGeneres for Favorite Daytime Talk Show Host and Jimmy Fallon for Favorite Late Night Talk Show Host.

Swift earned the prizes for Favorite Female Artist, Favorite Pop Artist and Favorite Song for "Shake it Off." Ed Sheeran won the awards for Favorite Male Artist and Favorite Album for X.

Iggy Azalea won for Favorite Hip-Hop Artist and Pharrell Williams for Favorite R&B Artist.
