LOS ANGELES, Jan. 8 (UPI) -- Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting was named Best Comedic TV Actress at the fan-voted People's Choice Awards ceremony in Los Angeles Wednesday night.

The Big Bang Theory star seemed to break the arm rest off of her chair as she was called to the stage. She looked surprised, placed the arm rest containing her water bottle on the floor and rushed to collect her prize. This is the second year in a row she has won in this category.

"Oh, my God, you guys! Thank you! This is such an honor. I cannot believe this," she said. "Thank you for voting! I know most of those votes are probably from my parents, but thank you! Chuck Lorre, thank you for hiring me. ... I love our show and our cast. ... I love playing Penny and I hope to play her for so many more years."

Earlier in the evening, Cuoco-Sweeting poked fun of the criticism she recently received for her comments to Redbook magazine that she is happily married, loves feeling like a housewife and doesn't consider herself a feminist.

The topic came up when the actress appeared on the People's Choice stage with her The Wedding Ringer co-stars Josh Gad and Kevin Hart, and announced they were there to present the prize for Favorite Comedic Movie Actress.

"Oooh, now Kaley, are you sure you want to do that category, given your anti-feminism stance?" Gad teased her.

"Yeah, I have to," she quipped. "It's part of my apology tour."
