Aug. 3 (UPI) -- The Notebook musical is coming to Broadway in spring 2024.
Producers announced Thursday that the new production will begin previews Feb. 6 at Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre in New York and officially open March 14.

The Notebook is a stage musical based on the Nicholas Sparks novel, which was previously adapted as a 2004 film starring Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams.
The musical features music and lyrics by Ingrid Michaelson, a book by Bekah Brunstetter and choreography by Katie Spelman, with Michael Greif and Schele Williams as directors.
Cast members will be announced at a later date.
The Notebook is a romantic drama that follows the relationship between the wealthy Allie and working-class Noah.
The musical adaptation was announced in 2019 and premiered at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater in fall 2022.
