March 28 (UPI) -- New couple Billie Lourd and Taylor Lautner celebrated spring by cozying up in a poppy field Monday.
The 24-year-old actress and 25-year-old actor shared photos on Instagram from their visit to the Antelope Valley California Poppy Reserve.
"#itspoppyingoff in tha #selfields," Lourd captioned a picture of herself holding onto Lautner.
Lautner followed up by posting a similar photo of himself with Lourd, writing, "PoppyLockNdropit."
Lourd and Lautner played Sadie Swenson and Dr. Cassidy Cascade in Scream Queens Season 2, and were first romantically linked in December. The actress thanked Lautner and other friends in January following the deaths of her mom, Carrie Fisher, and grandmother, Debbie Reynolds.
"This group of onesie clad supremely supportive humans (and many others #notpicturedbutinthepicture) are the kings and queens of my world #gratefulfortheirgreatness #friendsfindingthefunny," she wrote.
Fisher died of a heart attack Dec. 27, and Reynolds died of a stroke the next day. Lourd was not present at a public memorial service for the pair that her uncle, Todd Fisher, hosted Saturday in Los Angeles.
"[It was] too soon," a source told People.
Lourd appeared with her late mom in the 2015 movie Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and will reprise Lt. Connix in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, which opens in theaters Dec. 15. She is also slated for Billionaire Boys Club with Taron Egerton.
