Feb. 16 (UPI) -- Warner Bros. Animation has announced the release date for the upcoming DC Comics animated feature, Teen Titans: The Judas Contract.

Unveiled Thursday, the straight-to-home video release will be made available on Digital HD starting April 4 before arriving on Blu-Ray and DVD on April 18.

The Blu-Ray release will come packed with a number of special features including a sneak peak at the studio's next animated film, Batman and Harley Quinn as well as featurettes on antagonist Deathstroke and comic book creators Marv Wolfman and George Perez who crafted the original Judas Contract story inside the pages of Teen Titans.

A trailer for the film features the Teen Titans going up against Deathstroke who is looking to capture the young super hero team for the villainous H.I.V.E. organization.

"Led by Starfire, the Teen Titans – Beast Boy, Raven, Blue Beetle, Robin and the just-returned Nightwing – have built a cohesive team in their never-ending battle against evil; but their newest teammate, the mysterious and powerful Terra, may be altering that dynamic," reads the synopsis.

"Meanwhile, an ancient evil, Brother Blood, has awakened, and familiar foe Deathstroke is lurking in the shadows – both waiting to pounce. Ultimately, the Teen Titans will need to battle their enemies and their own doubts to unite and overcome the malicious forces around them in this twisting tale of intrigue, adventure and deception," it continues.

The film features the voices of Christina Ricci as Terra, Taissa Farmiga as Raven, Miguel Ferrer as Deathstroke, Stuart Allan as Robin, Brandon Soo Hoo as Beast Boy, Jake T. Austin as Blue Beetle, Kari Wahlgren as Starfire, and Sean Maher as Nightwing.

Directed by Sam Liu, The Judas Contract is a continuation of the Warner Bros. previous release of Justice League vs. Teen Titans, which first introduced this incarnation of the Teen Titans team.
