LOS ANGELES, Oct. 18 (UPI) -- Shia LaBeouf confirmed Tuesday that he tied the knot with Mia Goth last week.

The 30-year-old actor said on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that he and the British actress are very happy despite accidentally live-streaming their Las Vegas wedding.

"I did [get married], yes," LaBeouf told DeGeneres. "The plan was for it to be a private deal in Vegas [at] Viva [Las]Vegas wedding chapell, and part of the package -- the King Tut package -- you get a live-stream for free as part of the deal."

"I said, 'You know, we don't really need that as a matter of fact. We'll just take our little private tape.' We got our moms there. They said, 'No problem.' We get back home and it's like, 'Whoa, hey, listen, something changed,'" he said.

"I call them up and they said, 'Somebody pressed the wrong button that sends the video to TMZ.' I said I understood. I checked with my girl and she said, 'Hey, what are you gonna do,' and you know, it's love. We're proud of it. It was love," the star added.

TMZ had reported Oct. 10 that LaBeouf and Goth married in Las Vegas. Sources said at the time that Goth arrived to the ceremony in a pink Cadillac and that the couple chose Elvis and Hawaiian themes.

LaBeouf and Goth met on the set of Nymphomaniac in 2012 and got engaged in March. Clark County Nevada said in a tweet last week that the couple did not apply for an official marriage license in Las Vegas.
