Katy Perry has more than 90M Twitter followers

LOS ANGELES, July 3 (UPI) -- Twitter announced pop star Katy Perry has amassed 90 million followers on the social-media service.

"It's party time, @katyperry! With 90 million on the guest list, we're gonna need a really big dance floor," Twitter tweeted from its official account Friday.

"Dang this is tight," Perry responded in her own message.

"Every1 else havin a lit Friday night & I'm here examining the nose pore cleaner strip I just peeled off & I must say, nothing can top this," read a subsequent Perry post.
