LOS ANGELES, April 7 (UPI) -- Blac Chyna is taking fiancé Rob Kardashian's training into her own hands. The 27-year-old model vowed to help the 29-year-old reality star lose 40-50 more pounds in a Snapchat video Wednesday, just one day after announcing her engagement to Kardashian.

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is hoping to reach his goal weight by Blac Chyna's birthday on May 11. He presently weights 248 pounds and intends to get down to 210 or 200.
"I'm gonna train Rob. I'm gonna start a journey. I'mma start training him myself," Blac Chyna said in the clip. The model asked Kardashian's permission to train him for the next five weeks before starting him off on a treadmill.
Sources reported Kardashian lost 40 pounds through diet and exercise in February. The couple previously posted videos of themselves going through the star's cupboards, with Blac Chyna giving the okay to healthy foods.
"Everything about him has changed," a source told Us Weekly magazine the same month. "She's been so good for him."
Kardashian had gained 100 pounds in the past couple years and largely retreated from the spotlight. He was diagnosed with diabetes after an emergency visit to the hospital in December and he and Blac Chyna started dating the next month.
"He's doing really, really well," Kardashian's mom, Kris Jenner, revealed in March. "He feels much better about himself ... He's been very, very happy lately and I think he's in a good place. I don't know too much about [his] relationship."
Kardashian proposed to Blac Chyna with a $325,000 seven-carat diamond engagement ring this week. The reality star's family has yet to comment on the engagement, though Blac Chyna's ex-fiancé, Tyga, gave the couple his blessing.
