LOS ANGELES, Dec. 30 (UPI) -- Rob Kardashian was reportedly diagnosed with diabetes over the weekend after a surprise visit to the hospital.
The 28-year-old sibling of Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian is reportedly home after the diagnosis, which sources say is a "wake up call."
Kardashian was rushed to the hospital after a bout of increasing malaise after Christmas, TMZ first reported.
Earlier this month, sister Khloe Kardashian took to Instagram to encourage her brother. Alongside a blurry throwback photo of Rob kissing his sister on the cheek, Khloe wrote "If only you could see yourself through my eyes! I'll forever be obsessed with you! My one and only! #MyAce."
In recent years, Rob Kardashian has been reclusive from the spotlight shared by his sisters and half-sisters Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner. The brother even skipped out on sister Kim Kardashian's wedding to rapper Kanye West in 2014.
"He lives with Khloe," matriarch Kris Jenner said of her son this month. "He's doing alright. You know, he's doing his best...He's going to be OK."
