NASHVILLE, March 16 (UPI) -- Britney Spears and her brother Bryan Spears surprised their little sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, ahead of her performance at the Grand Ole Opry.

The "Toxic" singer rushed onstage of the long-running musical event Tuesday ahead of her brother to do the honors of introducing their sibling.

"Thanks to the Opry for letting me introduce this beautiful young lady who is my heart and my soul," Spears said. "Not only is she beautiful and extremely talented, she's my little sister."

Jamie Lynn Spears, 24, was initially unaware of the surprise introduction, saying, "I can't believe my whole family kept this secret from me."

"I'm so honored to be at the Opry, but I'm even more honored to be here with all the people that I love the most," she added before her performance.

On Wednesday, Britney Spears shared a selfie with her sister on Twitter alongside the caption "My baby sister." Jamie Lynn is a budding country singer while her big sister performs regularly at The Axis in Las Vegas.
