LOS ANGELES, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- Olivia Wilde shared a memory of late actor Chris Farley with James Corden on Thursday.
The 31-year-old actress recounted the time she met the Saturday Night Live star as a 10-year-old child on Thursday's episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden. Farley died of an accidental drug overdose at age 33 in December 1997.
"I was at an after-party for Saturday Night Live, which was a big treat for me," she recalled. "I was a fat kid, and I was standing by the dessert table, as usual. I was standing there, eating a brownie kind of self-consciously."
"Chris Farley walked up and just looked at me, locked eyes with me, and took a brownie. He put it in his mouth, then took another brownie and put it in his mouth. And then another one, and put it into his mouth. And then he started, like, slamming them into his mouth."
"It was all to delight a child," she told Cordon. "He took time out of his party to come over and make me laugh. It was so, so moving, so sweet."
Wilde is daughter to 60 Minutes producer Leslie Cockburn, and fiancée to longtime Saturday Night Live star Jason Sudeikis. The actor departed the NBC sketch comedy series in 2013, but once told Modern Luxury Manhattan magazine, "You never really leave that place, and it never leaves you."
Wilde and Sudeikis have been together since 2011, and welcomed their first child, son Otis, in April 2014. The actress will star as Devon Finestra on upcoming HBO musical drama Vinyl, while Sudeikis is slated for Devil and the Deep Blue Sea with Maisie Williams.
