Katy Perry and John Mayer reunite for second dinner date

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 12 (UPI) -- Katy Perry and John Mayer seem to have officially reconciled.

The former couple, who ended their on-and-off relationship last February, were spotted on a "double date" with Girls star Allison Williams and her fiance Ricky Van Veen at the Chateau Marmont hotel on Saturday.

Eyewitnesses told People magazine Perry and Allison arrived first, and were later joined by Van Veen and Mayer, who is said to have greeted Perry with a kiss.

"They actually buried the hatchet a while back, and they are friends," said an insider. "[Perry] is focused on her career and making herself happy."

The outing comes a week after the former couple was photographed together at a friend's dinner, after which they reportedly spent the night together at Perry's home.
