Lenny Kravitz to perform with Katy Perry during Super Bowl Halftime Show

The event is to air live on NBC Feb. 1.

NEW YORK, Jan. 10 (UPI) -- Pop star Katy Perry has invited rock icon Lenny Kravitz to join her as she headlines the Pepsi Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show, the NFL announced Saturday.

The eagerly awaited football game is to be played at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona Feb. 1.
