LOS ANGELES, Feb. 26 (UPI) -- Katy Perry and John Mayer have reportedly ended their relationship once again.
A source close to the couple told E! News that the two broke up "within the last few days," and that the reason for the split is still unknown.
The news comes on the heels of Perry's trip to Milan, Italy, a getaway from which Mayer was noticeably absent. The "Dark Horse" crooner returned home to Los Angeles on Friday.
Over the past few months there have been several rumors that the duo had gotten engaged, but neither of the singers confirmed or denied the allegations.
Perry and Mayer went public with their relationship in 2012. The pair took a break in March 2013 and reconciled later in the year.
