Ellen DeGeneres secretly filmed by Portia de Rossi during jolly workout

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 6 (UPI) -- Ellen DeGeneres was caught singing out loud to "Uptown Funk" while she ran on a treadmill in a video secretly filmed and shared by her wife, actress Portia de Rossi.

The former Ally McBeal star posted the clip on her Twitter account Monday to get revenge on DeGeneres, who had shared a video of her dancing to a Jane Fonda workout two days prior.

In de Rossi's clip "Ellen's workout: Revenge is Tweet," DeGeneres appears running in grey sweatpants and a sweatshirt as she loudly sings along to Mark Ronson's upbeat track.

While de Rossi has not shared too much information about how she sneaked in to film her wife's workout, DeGeneres did share how she got to film de Rossi in December when she first showed the video of her dancing to Jane Fonda on her talk show.

"I'm sitting there, and it's Saturday afternoon, and Portia's sitting doing a jigsaw puzzle, and I said, 'I'm going to pop [the Jane Fonda workout video] in,'" DeGeneres said while interviewing her wife last month. "I want to see this because I want to be able to talk about it. So she got up from the jigsaw puzzle she was doing, and I took the phone out, and started recording her."

DeGeneres and de Rossi celebrated their 10th anniversary in December.
