LOS ANGELES, Dec. 24 (UPI) -- Ellen DeGeneres decided to take another selfie with Meryl Streep Monday given that the actress was partly cropped out of her famous Oscar selfie.

When Streep and her Into The Woods co-stars, Anna Kendrick and Emily Blunt visited The Ellen DeGeneres earlier this week DeGeneres revealed she was originally trying to "get a selfie with Meryl, and then everybody else jumped in" when she captured the record-setting image at the 2013 Academy Awards.

Not only has Ellen DeGeneres set the record for most retweeted tweet of all-time, but she's also the first user to top 1 million retweets for a single Twitter post. Surpassing 1,300,000 retweets in less than an hour, @TheEllenShow posted the record-breaker while hosting the Oscars tonight. Because Streep "was barely" featured in the photo, the host said she wanted to take another selfie that would better showcase the actress. The result, however, was not entirely successful.
