LOS ANGELES, Dec. 4 (UPI) -- Terminator Genisys has unveiled its first promotional trailer starring Jason Clarke as John Connor, the leader of the resistance war against the machines.
The 2 1/2-minute clip also finds Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke portraying a young Sarah Connor and Arnold Schwarzenegger reprising his role as the Terminator.

Genisys finds John Connor worrying about a future attack when TECOM spies reveal a new plot by SkyNet to strike from both past and future.
The new trailer follows the release of a motion poster where a skeleton-like robot head with red eyes appears to be deteriorating.
Terminator Genisys was directed by Alan Taylor (Thor: The Dark World) and will be released in theaters July 1.
