LOS ANGELES, June 24 (UPI) -- Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux haven't made a public appearance together in months, fueling near-constant speculation that the longtime couple is breaking up.

But they put those rumors to bed at the New York City premiere of Theroux's new HBO series, The Leftovers.

A witness told Us Weekly that Aniston, 45, and Theroux, 42, showed plenty of affection at the event.

"Jen and Justin were really sweet together," the source said. "They were both absolutely beaming. Inside the event, Jen was being really sociable and looked extremely happy. They looked totally in love and seemed very relaxed."

The Leftovers, which premieres Sunday on HBO, is based on Tom Perrotta's novel about the people left behind in the wake of a mysterious rapture.
