EDWARD FURLONG: Actor Edward Furlong was arrested Tuesday in Los Angeles for allegedly violating an order of protection his estranged wife had taken out against him.

Furlong was ordered in 2010 to stay 100 feet away from actress Rachael Kneeland for three years after his spouse alleged in court papers the "Terminator 2," "Before and After" and "The Green Hornet" star "grabbed me, bruised me, pushed me ... left messages saying he would hire people to come and beat me with chains and bats. He is smoking cocaine and doing other various drugs. He is very unpredictable."

Furlong has denied the allegations.

People.com quoted a spokesman for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office as saying the 33-year-old actor was taken into custody Tuesday morning while in court for a status hearing on the restraining order because Kneeland said he violated it.

No details regarding how he supposedly did this were reported.

Furlong and Kneeland married in 2006 and filed for divorce in 2009. They are the parents of a 4-year-old son.

CONRAD MURRAY: A judge in Los Angeles has suspended the medical license of Dr. Conrad Murray, who is charged in the death of his star patient, pop singer Michael Jackson.

Along with ruling there is enough evidence for Murray to proceed to trial on an involuntary manslaughter charge, Los Angeles County Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor said Tuesday that allowing the cardiologist to keep his medical license "would constitute an imminent danger to public safety."

The judge's ruling capped a six-day hearing. Murray, 57, is to be arraigned Jan. 25, the Los Angeles Times reported.

The doctor is accused of causing the 50-year-old entertainer's death by improperly administering sedatives and anesthesia in an effort to help him sleep. Jackson died June 25, 2009, of acute propofol intoxication.

JEWEL: U.S. recording star Jewel says she is pregnant with her first child.

The singer, who is the co-host of Bravo's upcoming reality competition show "Going Platinum," married rodeo star Ty Murray in 2008.

"I took a pregnancy test and it was positive!" Jewel told People.com Tuesday. "It was so hard to keep it a secret. I was worried I'd start throwing up on set (of the TV show) and everyone would be like, 'Oh, she's pregnant.'"

Although People.com said Jewel is in her second trimester, the baby's gender and expected birth date were not reported.

DANIEL CRAIG: British actor Daniel Craig is to reprise his role of secret agent James Bond in a 007 film to start shooting late this year, the movie's producers said.

Craig previously played Bond in "Casino Royale" and "Quantum of Solace."

"American Beauty" filmmaker Sam Mendes -- who directed Craig in "Road to Perdition" in 2002 -- is to direct what will be the 23rd installment in the Bond franchise.

Details of the production were announced Tuesday by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli of EON Productions, together with Gary Barber and Roger Birnbaum, co-chairmen and chief executive officers of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Inc.

The as-yet-untitled movie is set for release Nov. 9, 2012.
