NEW YORK, Aug. 19 (UPI) -- Famed British-born U.S. fashion editor Anna Wintour is to make her first visit to "Late Show with David Letterman," CBS announced.

In addition to the appearance by the Vogue editor-in-chief, Monday's edition of the chat show will also feature New York Yankees All-Star first baseman Mark Teixeira's "Late Show" debut.

Wintour is featured in the new documentary "The September Issue," that gives a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the most important issue of the magazine, which at 840 pages in September 2007 was Vogue's biggest.

The documentary opens in U.S. theaters Aug. 28.

Teixeira is expected to be interviewed by Letterman, then participate in an outdoor batting demonstration, CBS said.
