The Hollywood Reporter said New Line is developing a feature film based on the series with Raffaella De Laurentiis producing through her Raffaella Productions, along with Martha De Laurentiis and show creator Lee Zlotoff.

"We think we're a stick of chewing gum, a paper clip and an A-list writer away from a global franchise," the entertainment industry trade newspaper quoted New Line's Richard Brener as saying.
