David Fincher to tackle 'The Killer'

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 2 (UPI) -- Acclaimed Hollywood filmmaker David Fincher plans to bring the graphic novel, "The Killer," to the big screen, Variety.com reported Friday.

About an assassin who suddenly starts listening to his conscience and the skilled cop who dogs his every move, the movie will be produced by Brad Pitt's Plan B Entertainment and Alexandra Milchan for Paramount Pictures, which acquired the novel.

Pitt starred in Fincher's 1999 cult classic, "Fight Club" and will soon be seen in the "Zodiac" director's upcoming film, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."
