'Indiana' actor under fire for blabbing

EDMOND, Okla., Sept. 27 (UPI) -- A 23-year-old actor with a small part in "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" may be in trouble for giving away the Hollywood film’s secrets.

The plot line and characters in the latest entry into the "Indiana Jones" saga have been closely guarded since the Steven Spielberg-George Lucas-Harrison Ford project was announced.

However, former Edmond, Okla., resident Tyler Nelson leaked several of those secrets in a Sept. 17 interview with the Edmond Sun, The Oklahoman reported Thursday.

Tyler’s indiscretion violates a nondisclosure agreement the New York Post said Spielberg and Lucas required all cast and crew sign.

The interview is no longer posted on the Sun’s Web site, but was picked up by other media outlets.

Nelson’s entry in the Internet Movie Database reveals he is no longer credited as an actor in the "Indiana Jones" flick or David Fincher’s upcoming "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button."

Both films are produced by Frank Marshall and Kathleen Kennedy.

Former entertainment lawyer Jay Shanker said: "It’s difficult (to imagine) that somebody else is going to put him ... in such a high-profile situation on another project without either different kinds of contractual assurances or some assurance of more maturity."
