Britney back in rehab; hearing canceled

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 22 (UPI) -- Britney Spears, once again, has checked into a rehabilitation facility, forcing Thursday's court hearing in Los Angeles to be canceled, it was reported.

Kevin Federline, Britney Spear's ex-husband, sought the hearing, possibly about custody of his and Spears' sons, TMZ.com said.

Federline reportedly told Spears that she had to complete the treatment program or else he would file for immediate custody of sons Jayden, 5 months, and Sean, 17 months, the celebrity news service said. The boys have been in Federline's custody for the past week.

In less than 10 days, Spears has checked into two rehabilitation centers, only to leave less than a day after entering each one. In between entering the clinics, she shaved her head.

The rapper in November sought spousal support and sole custody of the couple's children -- 5-month-old Jayden and 17-month-old Sean. A temporary court order granted the couple joint custody, with Spears having primary physical custody of the boys.
