Who frontman Roger Daltrey told the Liverpool Echo he and Pete Townshend "can't wait" to return to Liverpool after a 40 year absence.

"Liverpool has such a great musical history. I can't believe it's been almost four decades since we played there," Daltrey said. "We're really looking forward to the show."

Tickets go on sale next Friday for the July 5 and 6 concerts at the 4,000-seat arena.
