Val Kilmer joins 'Dark Matter' cast

BERLIN, Feb. 10 (UPI) -- Myriad Pictures has announced in Berlin that Val Kilmer has signed to star in "Dark Matter" with Meryl Streep and China's Liu Ye.

"Dark Matter" will tell the story of a Chinese exchange student who exacts revenge after her dreams of winning a Nobel Prize are dashed by internal school politics, The Hollywood Reporter said.

It will be the film directorial debut of opera director Chen Shi-Zheng, Myriad said.
