ABC, 'Bobby Long' lead Prism Awards field

LOS ANGELES, March 11 (UPI) -- ABC led all networks and "A Love Song for Bobby Long" led among feature films as nominees for this year's Prism Awards were announced in Los Angeles Friday.

ABC had 16 nominations for the 9th Annual Prism Awards -- given by the Entertainment Industries Council to recognize accurate depiction of drug, alcohol and tobacco use and addiction in film, television, music and comic book entertainment. EIC president and CEO Brian Dyak said the awards have helped promote more responsible depiction of drug and alcohol issues in the media.
