WFAN's Sid Rosenberg suspended

NEW YORK, Sept. 5 (UPI) -- New York City-based WFAN radio sports-talk host Sid Rosenberg has been indefinitely suspended after he failed to show up for work.

Sources told the New York Post that Rosenberg "partied all night" Wednesday night after he told co-workers he was meeting his cousin, Sen. Norm Coleman, R-Minn., who was in New York City for the Republican National Convention.

Thursday, Rosenberg did not appear for work or call to explain his absence, the Post said. Rosenberg also appears on the simulcast of Don Imus' radio program on MSNBC-TV.

Rosenberg is scheduled to meet Tuesday with WFAN executives, sources told the newspaper.
