Director Quentin Tarantino, who won the Palme D'Or in 1994 for "Pulp Fiction," will head the Cannes Film Festival jury with actresses Tilda Swinton, Emmanuelle Beart and Kathleen Turner.

The Coen brothers' latest film, a remake of "The Ladykillers," will have its European premiere during the festival, which promises more comedies than usual, including the animated "Shrek 2," featuring the voices of Cameron Diaz and Mike Myers.

American filmmaker Michael Moore will premiere his controversial movie "Fahrenheit 911" during the festival. The film has received advance publicity because Disney refused to distribute the film that centers on President Bush's alleged dealings with powerful Saudi families and the president's actions regarding the 9/11 attacks.
