LOS ANGELES, Jan. 20 (UPI) -- Fox executives announced a second season of the hit reality show "Simple Life" is in the works, though no airdate has been announced.
The next season will follow the show's original premise of dropping rich girls Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie into a setting far removed from their luxury lifestyles, which for the first season was an Arkansas farm community. The second season's locale has not been selected, Zap2it.com reported Monday.

"The Simple Life" became an immediate ratings booster for Fox when it premiered in the fall, averaging 10.4 million viewers a week and regularly winning its time period among the younger viewers the network targets.
