Jim Carrey ranked No. 1 box office draw

NEW YORK, Jan. 9 (UPI) -- Jim Carrey has been voted the actor with the most drawing power when it comes to driving ticket buyers to the box office in the U.S.-based Quigley Poll.

Carrey, from last year's "Bruce Almighty," was voted No. 1 in the most recent Quigley Poll, considered by many to be the most reliable measure of an actor's box office draw.

Nicole Kidman, currently starring in "Cold Mountain," ranked No. 2, beating out her ex-husband, Tom Cruise, who held that spot last year. Cruise is No. 4 this year.

Jack Nicholson from "Something's Gotta Give" came in third place in the survey, which has been around since 1932.

Rounding out the Top 10 were Julia Roberts, Johnny Depp, Russell Crowe, Tom Hanks, Will Ferrell and Renee Zellweger.

Some notables who made the 2002 list but have been left off the 2003 roster were Mike Myers, Leonardo DiCaprio, Denzel Washington, Mel Gibson, Vin Diesel, Reese Witherspoon and Catherine Zeta-Jones.
