Parsons awarded $164 million contract for intelligence support services

The Defense Intelligence Agency awarded the contract for services at its Missile and Space Intelligence Center.

May 9 (UPI) -- Parsons Government Services has been awarded a contract by the Defense Intelligence Agency for support services.

The deal, announced Tuesday by the Department of Defense, is a five-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity task order contract with a ceiling value of more than $164.6 million.

The contract from the Defense Intelligence Agency's Missile and Space Intelligence Center, out of Redstone Arsenal, Huntsville, Ala., enables Parsons Government Services to provide "modeling and simulation architecture analytical tools, model development and integration, integrated forces analysis, and C4 exploitation and analysis," according to the Defense Department.

Work on the contract will occur in Huntsville, Ala., with a period of performance extending to May 2028.

The Pentagon did not say if obligated funds will be allocated to Parsons Government Services at time of award.
