BRUSSELS, May 13 (UPI) -- Modeling and simulation software developer Presagis has been selected to provide software for a platform supporting the French General Delegation for Ordnance.
Presagis was selected by France-based Communication & Systemes to provide its Stage Scenario software. CS will use the Stage Scenario software for its simulation platform being developed for French Delegation Generale pour l'Armement Ballistics and Aerodynamic Research Laboratory.
CS selected Stage Scenario, a commercial off-the-shelf technology, to support the company's integration of customized simulation modules and interfaces for a simulation of intercontinental missile terrain and ballistic missiles models for the laboratory.
"Simulation products need to be open and scalable to support the way developers work and let them focus on creating new, dynamic scenarios," Robert Kopersiewich, Presagis vice president of product and program management, said in a statement.
"We were thrilled to work with CS on this innovative project and that they chose Presagis (commercial-off-the-shelf) simulation tools to help the (Ballistics and Aerodynamic Research Laboratory) evaluate and perfect the performance of its missiles and navigation systems."
