CACI awarded DARPA follow-on contract

ARLINGTON, Va., May 1 (UPI) -- The U.S. Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency has awarded a follow-on contract to CACI International Inc. to continue providing program management support.

U.S. company CACI was awarded the contract from DARPA's Information Processing Techniques Office as part of the Navy's SeaPort Enhanced contract vehicle.

Under the $50 million prime contract, CACI will to continue providing the DARPA IPTO, a next-generation research and prototyping development agency, with acquisition, financial and program-management services.

"CACI has supported DARPA since 1992, and we are very proud to continue providing value and mission continuity to this agency whose work is so critical to our nation's defense," Bill Fairl, CACI president of U.S. operations, said in a statement.

"Our team delivers the foundational services and solutions, and experienced and knowledgeable personnel that help DARPA ensure projects are completed effectively, efficiently, and on time."
