Nice Systems launches SafeRoute

RA'ANANA, Israel, March 30 (UPI) -- Israel-based Nice Systems has launched its new mobile, digital video-surveillance technology in a move to expand the company's security-solutions portfolio.

Nice Systems has released its SafeRoute onboard video-surveillance system to improve the security capabilities in public-transit stations, rails, critical infrastructure, fleets and other areas.

SafeRoute, the company's first mobile, digital video-surveillance solution, is designed to support the public-transport environment's demanding conditions, delivering video, audio and vehicle data for next-generation situational awareness.

"SafeRoute onboard video surveillance is not only an effective deterrent; it is one of the most effective tools available for prosecuting crime, investigating claims and improving the personal safety of passengers and staff," Shykeh Gordon, Nice Systems corporate vice president, said in a statement.
