Veracity Engineering gets FAA award

WASHINGTON, Sept. 21 (UPI) -- The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration's efforts to adopt a next-generation communications infrastructure will be aided by Veracity Engineering.

Veracity, a provider of program management and systems engineering to the FAA, said the infrastructure programs it will help implement under a seven-year, $100 million contract include system wide information management, data communications and the NAS voice system.

"This contract underscores Veracity Engineering's ongoing commitment to supporting the FAA's mission and the transformation of the NAS to achieve NextGen objectives," said Hai Tran, president and chief executive officer of Veracity Engineering.

"We are honored that the FAA selected us for this important role and look forward to building upon our longstanding relationship with the (FAA's) Communications Services Group."

The prime contract given the company comes under the FAA's Enterprise Communications Support Services Small Business Set-Aside contract, which is designed to obtain a wide range of support services in the areas of program management, acquisition support, system engineering, operations management and support, and business and financial management.

Veracity Engineering said its team for providing the services needed under the award include Basic Commerce and Industries, Booz Allen Hamilton, Business Process and Automation Services, CenturyLink, Cobec Consulting, Engility Corporation, Human Solutions, ICF International, North Star Group, TASC, and THANE Inc.
