CTC said that under the contract it will support C5ISR -- command, control, communications, computers, command systems, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance – systems. It will also conduct research, development, testing and evaluation services on integrated communications services for all commands covered under the Department of Defense Joint Basing agreement.

"This contract represents the Department of Defense's critical need to implement new technologies in support of the warfighter," said George E. McAllister, CTC executive director of Special Missions Solutions.

"CTC is already working towards providing such services as joint base planning support, material technology and testing, training and education support, and technology research management.

"Advanced, integrated C5ISR technologies will help the commands more easily share decision critical information."
