CACI acquiring Pangia Technologies

ARLINGTON, Va., June 22 (UPI) -- CACI International Inc. of Virginia is acquiring software engineering company Pangia Technologies to expand its engineering and cybersecurity capabilities.

CACI said the anticipated closing of the acquisition agreement is expected by July 1.

Pangia, which has headquarters in Maryland, is engaged in application development, systems vulnerability auditing and threat analysis, intrusion detection engineering, system security architecture design and development, broadly based software development, and design, development, and support for key systems through their life cycle.

Pangia has contract vehicles with key members of the intelligence community, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the U.S. Air Force, and the U.S. Navy.

Pangia's revenue in calendar year 2010 was $18.7 million. The acquisition is expected to be accretive to CACI's earnings per share during its first 12 months.
